Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Durango

This is the place to stay for a quick night's rest and on to more adventures. We were checked in by a very nice man, I think his name was Bill. The room was very clean and got a great night's rest. I saw reviews about the noise from the road. They provide a fan in the room, we turned that on and heard nothing but peaceful white noise. It's also expected, as it's confidently located close to everything downtown. Will stay agin next time we are passing through!

The price is good and the room was very clean and surprisingly big. The king mattress seemed old as both sides sloped down into the middle, but that didn't really bother us. We had a pretty good stay overall. However, note that the breakfast only has minimal sugary and sweet breakfast foods, so once we realized, we bought our own savory breakfast foods for subsequent mornings and put it in the fridge to microwave them first in the morning - just personal preference. Can’t complain too much because the breakfast there is free.

Our stay at the Econo Lodge in Durango, CO, was fantastic! The room was comfortable and clean, with beds that were especially cozy—perfect for a great night’s sleep. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the rooms were surprisingly quiet, ensuring we got plenty of rest. One thing that stood out was how considerate housekeeping was; they didn’t knock early in the morning like at other places we’ve stayed, which made our mornings even more relaxing. The complimentary breakfast was another nice perk, especially the option to make your own waffles! It added a nice touch to start the day. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. On top of that, the rates were very reasonable for the quality and service we received. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Durango!

Typical roadside motel, rooms are clean and up to date for the venue. Despite being on a main road the room/area was quiet. Rooms are about $80. We had a king size bed that comfortable. Breakfast is included, basic waffles, prepackaged muffins, fruit, yogurt & cereal. Nothing fancy, but economical & served our purpose passing through the area.

Good place to stay. Comfy and clean beds, good service for last minute trips, but thin walls. Room service cleaned our room while we were gone on the first day. Shampoo leaked randomly in the shower when no one touched it. Phone made little noises till we unplugged it. Alarm clock kept resetting and flashing. Outlet behind my bed was almost ripped out and clock wasn't plugged in all the way.

STAY HERE FOR VALUE AND COMFORT. Our stay here was decent. The beds were very comfortable. The room was clean. The refrigerator and freezer worked. Parking lot seemed a bit small, but we were lucky to get a spot next to our room early. Breakfast wasn't very appealing, so we passed on it. Location was perfect for getting to the downtown area and to the train station in only a few minutes. We got what we paid for and that is what is most important.

Older facility the outside could use a remodel. The inside is older and dated but clean and  well maintained. It had a decent shower. There were outside entries and stairs only. The beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast had very minimal choices, but fine, if you're ok with cereal waffles, yogurt, or packaged pastries. Just new outdoor carpet on the balcony would greatly improve the appearance. I would definitely recommend just, don't expect a new facility.

The beds and room were nice, the website showed an amazing spread for breakfast and it was very disappointing. Only had orange juice, coffee, muffins and waffles, stayed in other places in town with much more to offer for breakfast
